Our project has four goals-

Create a place online for Phil Kelly’s musical legacy.

This is it! This site contains much to see and hear. This was also the easiest part of our mission. There are two places to go to hear Phil’s music- here, and here.

Feature and share as many of his musical works as possible.

Phil’s output spanned over 50 years. We already have a bunch of Phil’s works to share but we know there’s more out there. Through further research and help from the musical community we will uncover more stuff.

Conduct interviews with those who knew him to learn more and capture memorable stories.

We have already completed a few interviews and there are more coming. We feel time is running short, so this part of the mission is a little more urgent. The people Phil worked with are, if not  already deceased, in their golden years. Some are not responsive, but thankfully there are a few spry youths out there who have already chimed in and have been very helpful! Thank you for your contributions!

Revive interest in Phil Kelly’s music, restore, and record his unreleased compositions, and organize live concerts featuring his music.

This is most exciting and challenging goal. Yes, some original unheard material exists and eventually we will help bring them to light and share them with the world. Phil didn’t make bad music, and these are no exceptions. And we know a bunch of musicians who would love to play his music live again! This final part of our mission will take the longest to bring to fruition; but when it happens we will let you know!
